While druids commune with the untamed wilds or speak with beasts of fur and claw, the sage knows that there is more to nature than the dun dappled forest or the steamy jungle. A sage has traveled the world to learn the wisdom of the sea and the language of the whispering winds, and uses that knowledge to advise kings or protect the adventurers under her command. Pragmatic, worldly, and intuitive, the sage knows how to avoid danger, inflict pain, and protect the even most vulnerable.
In game terms, the Sage is a spontaneous divine caster, who uses Wisdom as her casting stat and draws from the shaman spell list. Her her five major abilities are her 9th level spell casting, Instinct, Praxis, Places of Power, and her Personal Sigil. Depending on what aspects of the class a player chooses to focus on, the sage can be an offensive spell caster, a support caster, a competent natural attacker, or a combination of the three. However, the class is quite versatile, and can fulfill many different roles. Now, without further ado, allow us to introduce the Sage: Comments are closed.
